GLOVE CARE
Before Play
- Pre wash gloves to remove preservatives from latex
- Allow gloves to dry naturally
- Rub the palms and press them together to squeeze any residual soap from the manufacturing process out of the foam.
During Play
- Occasionally dampen palms of gloves with water during play for best grip and durability
- Latex isn’t designed to be dry
After Play
- Wash immediately
- Leave to dry naturally
- Leaving gloves to dry out for too long will cause latex to become brittle
Important: It's normal for the gloves to lose a bit of grip after the initial wash. The full grip will fully develop after they have been used 1 or 2 times, ideally in training.

Shipping
All items are checked over, carefully packaged, and sent through Australia Post by regular, untracked mail. Postage is charged at a flat rate regardless of the order size. Once your order has been shipped, GKU Football Academy accepts no responsibility for loss or damage to your package. We will try to ensure that all goods are delivered in a prompt and timely manner. However, from time to time it is possible that shipping and other factors outside of our control may result in delays. No liability will be accepted for loss or damages suffered by anyone as a result of any such delays.
Delivery times listed on the site are an estimate only and are subject to change without notice. If unforeseen circumstances arise and there is a delay in dispatching your order, GKU Football Academy will notify you by email and send the order as soon as possible. Once goods have been dispatched, it is the customer’s responsibility to make themselves available to take delivery during business hours.
Our aim is for you to receive your items within 3-5 business days for Regular Post. This takes into account the handling time as well as the shipping time.If you would like insurance for your parcel please contact us and we will invoice you for the extra costs involved.If you provide an incorrect mailing address and your order is returned to us, you will be required to repay shipping costs.
Returns
Unfortunately refunds will only be issued if an item is faulty or damaged. We can not give refunds for change of mind purchases.
You must notify us via email with the reason for your return and proof of purchase before it will be processed. We will assess your description and may request more information. If a fault has developed after 14 days of use, we reserve the right to refuse replacement.
Refunds must be submitted within 14 days, general wear and tear is possible after this time. An exchange will only be available where a different size in the same style is required, subject to availability. If you require an exchange for a different size, you must notify us via email with the details of the style, size purchased, size required and proof of purchase before it will be processed.
Please be aware that since all of the items in our store are handmade, some variations between products may occur, e.g. slight dye variations, shape, placement of patterns, colour variations.
We cannot refund shipping costs from your original order and you will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item to us.
Refunds will be provided (less cost of original postage) once the returned item is received via registered post in unused condition. The refund must also be agreed upon and the fault confirmed by us prior to the refund. If you request a size exchange, we will post a new item to you and pay for the shipping costs to send your replacement item once we have received the original item.
